Over 600 people filled the Richmond Civic Center to hear Presidential candidate Dennis Kucinich and the Richmond
Progressive Alliance (RPA) candidates for Richmond City Council Gayle McLaughlin and Andres Soto.

Van Jones of the Ella Baker Center for Human Rights introduced Dennis Kucinich.

Dennis Kucinich presented his views on pollution, the war, and the economy. He also expressed strong support for the Richmond Progressive Alliance and other grass-roots political organizing, which he sees as the only way that we can turn our nation around.
