For one evening only, RYSE Center will be open for adults! Now is your opportunity to take part in all the fun activities that our youth partake. Learn how to DJ, record your own song in the recording studio, take a yoga/meditation class, meet with a wellness counselor, and show off your moves at a hip hop dance session! Hors d'oeuvres will be provided, and Bay Area's own St. George Spirits/Hanger One will be preparing a specialty cocktail. Security will be strictly enforced with our bouncer, Contra Costa County Supervisor John Gioia!

Workshops and activities will be offered between 6-8pm, and music and dancing to follow thereafter.

RYSE is a safe and welcoming center for diverse West Contra Costa youth that builds youth power and leadership towards personal and community health and transformation.

Cinco de Mayo Fesitval and Parade

Celebrate the Mexican Culture and enjoy Mexican art, music, dance, food, exhibits, and classic cars on display from 11:00 am to 6:00 pm. This event also includes a one mile long parade.

We believe that community involvement means more than voting every two years. It means regular communication with the candidates we elect, letting them know our issues and positions, supporting them as they try to take our issues forward. It means we attend meetings, use the email, phone our neighbors, or go on marches building an organized movement to create real change.
