|||||
| Friends: I am so honored to have won a seat on the City Council as we move forward on our progressive journey here in Richmond. This victory reflects so many things. First off, it reflects the work and commitment of an incredible campaign team. Thank you, Friends of Gayle McLaughlin, for bringing home this victory! Along with an extraordinary campaign effort, this victory is a reflection of strong and principled alliance-building work. The RPA, SEIU 790, ACORN and so many other community groups have shown ourselves to be a new force in Richmond. The road ahead will be challenging, but filled with many wonderful experiences. I am proud to be walking the path with you all! |
