RPA Endorsed Candidates for Richmond City Council

Friends:

I am so honored to have won a seat on the City Council as we move forward on our progressive journey here in Richmond. This victory reflects so many things. First off, it reflects the work and commitment of an incredible campaign team. Thank you, Friends of Gayle McLaughlin, for bringing home this victory!

Along with an extraordinary campaign effort, this victory is a reflection of strong and principled alliance-building work. The RPA, SEIU 790, ACORN and so many other community groups have shown ourselves to be a new force in Richmond. The road ahead will be challenging, but filled with many wonderful experiences. I am proud to be walking the path with you all!

Estimados amigos:

Congratulations and Gracias to all of you who helped make our Friends of Andrés Soto campaign for Richmond City Council the most fun, exciting and dynamic campaign Richmond has seen in many years! Our level of individual participation, individual donor and coalition building was unprecedented in Richmond and speaks well of the future of the Progressive Movement in Richmond.

Gracias y Paz,
Andrés

RPA Endorsed Candidates for San Pablo City Council

Hello,

I am humbled and inspired by being elected to the San Pablo City Council. I wish to thank my campaign committee, the financial contributors to the campaign, the endorsers, my web master, the Hiram Design Group and the precinct walkers that included members of the Richmond Progressive Alliance. I will do my best to honor the confidence of the voters. I will be a voice for peace, justice and equality. I bring new ideas for participatory democracy that emanate from a lifetime of social change activism.

Leonard Mc Neil

RPA Endorsed Candidate
West Contra Costa Healthcare District Director

Saludos!

The RPA enters 2005 stronger, more united, and more resolved to fight against inequity and for peace, economic justice and environmental stewardship! Despite garnering a respectable 13,800 votes, I lost my bid for West Contra Costa Healthcare District Director. I am only encouraged by my experience. Let's stay engaged and work together to forge unity from diversity and build a progressive coalition of dedicated and compassionate individuals.

Peace,
Susan
