Sweeping the City - May 27, 2017

The Richmond Progressive Alliance is co-sponsoring Sweeping the City, a Richmond-wide volunteer event aimed at improving the conditions in one part of the community we share. 

In the words of event organizer Bishop Andre W. Jackson:

Together we stand divide we fall. Sweeping the City stands for unity - bringing our City into the spirit of oneness. Our goal is to show that we can work together for a greater cause. This Sweeping the City event will take place on Saturday, May 27, 2017 from 10:00 am to 2:00 pm in North Richmond and the County side of Richmond, but let’s keep in mind that we are “one” Richmond. We will work towards bringing the home owners, land owners, and renters in the area together to beautify the area.

Previous Sweeping the City events included the cleaning up of Cutting Boulevard from San Pablo Avenue to the Richmond Plunge; McDonald Avenue to Canal Street; Parchester Village; and also the Pullman Townhouse.
