California Proposition 2, Public Education Facilities Bond Measure
Vote “yes” on this $10 billion bond to construct and modernize public education facilities in California. Major unions supporting the measure include the California Federation of Teachers and the California Labor Federation.
California Proposition 3, Right to Marry and Repeal Proposition 8 Amendment
Vote "yes" to codify same-sex marriage in the California constitution.
California Proposition 4, Parks, Environment, Energy, and Water Bond Measure
Vote “yes” for the state to issue $10 billion in bonds to support state and local parks — plus infrastructure to prepare for climate change, including clean energy and flood protection.
California Proposition 5, Lower Supermajority Requirement to 55% for Local Bond Measures to Fund Housing and Public Infrastructure Amendment
Vote “yes” to lower the threshold (from 66.67% to 55%) for local bond measures that fund much-needed affordable housing projects and infrastructure.
California Proposition 6, Remove Involuntary Servitude as Punishment for Crime Amendment
Vote “yes” to support amending the state constitution to prohibit slavery and involuntary servitude as punishment for a crime and authorize the Department of Corrections and Rehabilitation to award credits to incarcerated persons who voluntarily participate in work assignments.
California Proposition 32, $18 Minimum Wage Initiative
Vote “yes” to increase the state minimum wage to $18 per hour by 2026 for all employers and thereafter adjusting the rate annually by increases to the cost of living.
California Proposition 33, Prohibit State Limitations on Local Rent Control Initiative
Vote “yes” to repeal the Costa-Hawkins Rental Housing Act (1995). This measure would allow cities and counties to limit rent on any housing, limit the rent for first-time tenants, and add language to state law prohibiting the state from limiting jurisdictions from maintaining, enacting, or expanding residential rent control.
