Public Meeting About Clean Up of Radioactive Site on Richmond’s Southeast Shoreline

There will be a public meeting regarding the radioactive contamination of the Blair Landfill (located on Richmond’s South shoreline) on Thursday, July  13, 2017 at 6:30 p.m. The meeting will be held in the Community Services building in the basement Community Meeting Room at Richmond Civic Center (downstairs from City Council Chambers). 

The meeting will be with the Department of Toxic Substances Control (DTSC), the Richmond Southeast Shoreline Citizen’s Advisory Group (CAG), and the representatives of the Responsible Parties (Zeneca Inc. and Stauffer Chemical).  There will be a presentation of the study released last month by Stauffer Management Company.
